Terms & Conditions

1. General

By accessing and using www.bonsejourooty.com, you agree to accept these terms without limitation or reservation. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this site.

2. Site Availability

While we strive to ensure our website is accessible 24/7, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to maintenance, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. Use of Our Website

  • You may only use this website to make legitimate reservations.

  • Fraudulent or exploratory bookings are strictly prohibited.

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login details and password.

4. Reservations, Amendments & Cancellations

All reservations are subject to availability. Confirmation is provided upon successful booking.
 

  • Free Cancellation: Up to 14 days before check-in – 100% refund.

  • 8-14 Days Before Check-in: 50% refund of the booking amount.

  • Less than 8 Days: No refund for last-minute cancellations.
     

Rescheduling is allowed with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability and possible rate differences.

5. Charges & Payment Terms

  • A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before check-in.

  • Failure to pay on time may result in automatic cancellation with applicable charges.

6. Check-In & Check-Out Policy

  • Check-in: After 12:00 PM.

  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM.

  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

7. Occupancy & Extra Charges

  • Any additional guests beyond the booked number will incur a charge of ₹1,000 per head per night.

  • If an extra bed is used, an additional ₹1,000 per bed per night will be charged.

8. Child Policy

  • Children up to 6 years stay free.

  • Children 7-12 years – nominal charges apply.

  • Children 12+ years are charged as adults.

9. House Rules

  • No smoking inside the property.

  • No food is allowed inside the rooms.

  • No pets are permitted.

  • No alcohol is allowed inside the premises.

  • Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

  • No loud music or TV beyond the permitted hours.

  • Report any damages immediately (charges may apply for damages).

  • No unregistered guests are allowed.

10. Room Amenities & Additional Services

  • Room Heater, Hair Dryer, and Iron Box are available upon request.

  • These services are charged at a nominal fee per use/day at the front desk.

11. Payment Methods

  • We accept major credit cards, UPI, and cash payments.

  • Payments must be settled before check-in

12. GST & Taxes

  • GST @ 12% for room tariffs < ₹7,500.

  • GST @ 18% for room tariffs ≥ ₹7,500.

13. Early Departures & No-Show Policy

  • Early check-outs: No refunds for unused nights.

  • No-shows: Guests who fail to check in on their booked date will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

14. Liability Disclaimer

Bon Sejour Ooty does not warrant that errors or omissions may sometimes occur. The resort disclaims any liability for:
 

  • Errors in room availability or pricing.

  • Loss of personal belongings or valuables.

  • Inconvenience caused due to power outages, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

​These terms and conditions are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India.
